  1. This little utility is more or less an act of desperation.
  2. We are going to have to upgrade a ton of PCs from OS2 1.2
  3. SE TO OS2 1.2 EE very shortly.  If you have ever had to 
  4. do that you will have noticed that saving your installed
  5. programs list and groups is impossible if you are already
  6. using HPFS on the primary drive.
  7.  
  8. This utility will allow you to backup installed programs
  9. and groups to a user ini file that can be used later to
  10. reload the os2.ini file.  In this way, you may preserve
  11. your OS2 1.2 SE application environment.  Also, if you
  12. have a ton of installs to do (like I do) you may create
  13. a stand user install list and mass load them to newly 
  14. installed OS2 1.2 machines.

  16. Additionally, you may backup the entire OS2.INI and 
  17. OS2SYS.INI files.

  19. The ink is still wet on this code.  I will upload a release
  20. that has help and an ICON when I have time.  I have included
  21. source code so you can play with it if you need to.
